Treatment of Oral Submucous Fibrosis

Oral Submucous Fibrosis (OSMF) is a Pre-cancer condition of mouth. It is a crippling disease of the mouth caused mainly by the toxic chemicals present in Beetle nut (Supari). It affects multiple regions of the mouth simultaneously, like inner skin of the cheeks, lips, throat, tongue, etc. causing burning sensation on eating spicy foods gradually causing reduction in mouth opening. At SnC Dental, treatment is offered for skin changes caused by Oral Submucous Fibrosis thus reversing the destructive process.
